Well, I knew that there would be many of Adam's "firsts" to write about...but I was hoping that I wouldn't have to write about his first visit to the ER, at least not so soon! Here is what happened...
Adam hadn’t been feeling well on Wednesday afternoon as he had a temperature of 103 degrees F and had quite a juicy cough and just wasn’t his normal happy self. Luckily we were able to schedule a 7:30 pm appointment with the doctor. However, when she checked him out, she heard a “crackling” in his lungs when he was breathing. She told us to go to UMass ER so he could get a chest Xray. After spending over 4 hrs in the UMass ER we found out that Adam had pneumonia. He was one unhappy boy on Wednesday but now he is on Amoxicillin and has been feeling better!
We owe a big thanks to Grammy Jo and Grandma and Grandpa Bailey for watching Adam the past two days. Thanks everyone!!
