Adam went to his first
Pawtucket Red Sox game on Saturday and he had a ball! :) We were there with Grandma, Grandpa, cousin Jakob, Aunt Elissa and Jimmy and we had been invited to a BBQ at the stadium before the game with the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution). It was great since we had a table with a much needed umbrella, and we could walk right up to the wall that went along side the first base line.

The highlight of the evening was that we actually got a game ball to take home, all thanks to Matt! He was not hit once, but TWICE with a fly ball. One hit him on his side and the other one on the shoulder, making him spill his beer. He said it hurt, but he is fine and he was able to snag the first ball that hit him.
Adam met "Paws" the mascot, and even though he doesn't look interested in the picture, he was pretty excited to see him.

Jakob had a fun time with his bear claw...

It was a good game even though no one had scored while we were there (the Paw Sox actually lost the game). We were surprised that Adam lasted through 6 innings since the rule of thumb is the age of the kid, is the number of inning they can last through (so we were thinking we would only be there for one inning). Although towards the end he was fighting to keep his eyes open and he was asleep in the car even before we made it to the highway.
I can't forget!!! We actually started of the weekend with some fun too as cousin Jakob spent the night Friday night. The boys had a great time playing together and even got some time on Saturday to play in the little backyard pool.
