This weekend we celebrated Jakob's 6th birthday at Build-A-Bear at the mall. What an absolutely crazy time! But both Jakob and Adam loved it (as well as the other 11 six-year olds!). You could never pay me enough money to do what those Build-A-Bear employees do...I felt like it was complete kid chaos the whole time. Both Matt and I were needed to keep track of Adam as he loved running around in the packed store and touching everything. We did manage to get him a bear made admist the chaos...and he even picked out the outfit himself. 
For those of you who don't recognize the outfit, it is Buzz Light year from Toy Story. We have recently found out that Adam loves, loves, LOVES Buzz. We have a few of the Disney movies at home and have put some of them on for Adam, which most of the time he found somewhat entertaining for a few minutes. However....he sits through and watches Toy Story (and Toy Story 2) with facination. His new favorite word is "Buzz" and he has a couple of Buzz Lightyear toys (see previous blog entry) that he plays with all the time. When we were at Build-A-Bear he even started pulling at a woman's Disney shopping bag since it had a Buzz on the bag. So....when we were walking/running through the store he reconized the Buzz outfit and immediately got excited. And so, "Buzz Bear" was born!
